ABOUT KATRINA DUNN Katrina Dunn is an award-winning professional director, respected producer and inspiring teacher.For over a decade she has been Artistic Director of Touchstone Theatre in Vancouver, BC. Touchstone Training teaches lawyers how to dramatically improve their performance using the skills and techniques of the actor. Touchstone’s critically acclaimed workshop, The Powerful Performance: Effective Advocacy Skills for Lawyers, has helped countless lawyers and judges develop and improve their advocacy and presentation skills. Prior to moving to Touchstone, Katrina was a founding member and Artistic Director of Ruby Slippers and directed many interdisciplinary works for that company from its inception in 1989. As a freelance director, she has worked for numerous theatre, dance and music organizations, including Grinning Dragon Theatre, Battery Opera, Current Sound Opera(tions), The Hard Rubber Orchestra and Mascall Dance. She has taught theatre at the UBC and in Touchstone Training workshops for the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia, BC CLE and at numerous legal conferences and events. She received her training at SFU (Dance and Theatre programs) and the National Theatre School of Canada. Katrina offers one to two day open enrolment and private inhouse programs across Canada through Seminar Partners.
